Holiday in the heart of beautiful Snowdonia in a Scandinavian style pine log cabin
Beautifully Situated
Situated in Trawsfynydd Holiday Village, on a hillside within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, 'Caban Dan Y Ser' enjoys views of the wild Rhinog mountains, as well as being a short drive from the coast. The pretty town of Dolgellau is a ten minute drive to the south, while around twenty minutes away to the north lie Porthmadog and nearby Portmeirion, home of the classic 60's TV series 'The Prisoner'.
The site shop sells groceries, newspapers etc and there is a coin operated laundrette.
There is also an enclosed dog walking area nearby where dogs can be let off the lead. One well behaved dog is welcome to join you on your holiday free of charge.
Being within a designated 'Dark Sky' area, clear night skies are awesome, with the Milky Way, planets and abundant shooting stars to be seen. If you have a telescope you need to bring it here!

Comfortably Furnished
The cabin sleeps four, in one double bedroom and one bunk bedroom.
The lounge area is equipped with HD TV (with FreeSat and a Bluetooth soundbar so you can stream music from your phone or tablet), BluRay DVD player (with the facility to log in to your existing Netflix account), a large selection of DVDs, and free 4G WiFi.
The dining area faces west towards the Rhinog mountain range, and you can enjoy spectacular sunsets over the mountains while dining.
There is a private parking space for one car, and a secluded lawned garden area.
Fully Equipped
The modern kitchen is very well equipped with hob and single electric oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven. There is also a Tassimo drinks machine, cafetiere, slow cooker and an excellent range of pots, pans and utensils.
Water comes from a private supply higher up the hillside, and is heated by a water heater under the sink.
Washing up liquid, tea towels and cleaning materials are provided.
We also provide an iron, ironing board and rotary clothes line. There are picnic chairs to use by the cabin or out and about.
The bathroom is equipped with a corner shower cubicle with electric shower and heated towel rail.
